The Comprehensive Literacy State Development (CLSD) Comprehensive Literacy Innovations Support equips educators with the tools and strategies needed to advance literacy skills for students from birth through grade 12. As a Louisiana-based nonprofit, The Center for Literacy & Learning partners with school systems to provide literacy mentors with mentorship, training, and support. Our Literacy Mentors work alongside educators to ensure the implementation of evidence-based best practices that enhance literacy instruction.

Our 94-hour support package, delivered over 10 months (July–April), equips schools and educators with the tools and guidance needed to enhance literacy instruction. We help educators create lasting, meaningful improvements in student literacy outcomes through expert coaching, professional development, and tailored support.
