Join The Center for Literacy & Learning on Capitol Hill for a landmark symposium, “The Blueprint for Literacy,” where we will spotlight the evidence-based strategies that have transformed reading outcomes for children across Louisiana. This summit will bring together educators, policymakers, researchers, and advocates to explore how Louisiana achieved historic gains in literacy—and what other states can learn from its success.

Through a series of expert-led sessions, the symposium will offer a deep dive into the policies and reforms that shaped Louisiana’s literacy landscape, including a strong emphasis on the Science of Reading—a body of research that has informed instruction and intervention practices statewide. Attendees will also hear about the critical importance of family engagement and the need to provide language- and literacy-rich environments beginning at birth, laying a foundation for lifelong learning and academic achievement.

This is more than a policy discussion—it’s a proven blueprint for academic success.

RSVP and be part of a national conversation on what it takes to turn the page on reading outcomes—and build a brighter future for all children.
